We appreciate that we are gathering on BC Treaty 8 First Nation Territory, by acknowledging the long-standing presence of the elders and ancestors of Treaty 8. We extend the recognition and respect for the BC Treaty 8 First Nations and their lands, welcoming us here in peace and friendship.
