The combination of the tranquil river\, towering trees\, and expansive mountain views creates a sense of peace and wonder\, making each moment of this snowshoeing adventure unforgettable. Whether you’re exploring solo or with a group\, the experience is one of connection—both with nature and with the exhilarating freedom of winter backpacking. \n															\n																														 \nMEALS INCLUDED – Northstar Kitchen & Catering will be providing the catering for our event\, and they are a local business in Tumbler Ridge\, BC. \n\nLunch: A simple yet satisfying sandwich alongside a bag of fresh vegetables\, providing a nice crunch and healthy options.\nAppetizer: The meat and cheese platter is perfect for socializing and offers a variety of tastes.\nDinner: The choice between butter chicken with rice and naan or spaghetti with veggie meat sauce\, complemented by a Caesar salad\, provides something for everyone.\nBreakfast: Bacon or sausage and eggs in buns\, paired with fresh fruit for a hearty and energizing start to the day.\n\nA cozy and rustic dining experience! Reheating meals on a wood stove adds a unique touch\, enhancing the flavors while creating a warm atmosphere in the cabin. Simple and easy to pack in our bags and sleighs. \n																														 \nDay 1: \nSaturday. \nJoin us at the Tumbler Ridge Visitor Centre at 10:00 AM. This charming centre offers a delightful selection of local treasures\, so be sure to take a leisurely stroll and explore. \nAfterward\, we’ll head to the nearby trailhead\, taking our time to enjoy the scenic journey to the cabin\, it’s a quick journey to the cabin making it the perfect winter getaway close to home. \nWill enjoy the day exploring around the cabin on local trails. \nDay 2:  \nSunday  \nStart your morning by the fire\, savoring a delicious breakfast prepared on the woodstove. Enjoy your meal with a stunning view of the Murray River\, setting the perfect tone for the day. \nAfter breakfast\, we’ll take our time packing up\, soaking in the serene atmosphere. Once we’re ready\, we’ll embark on another beautiful trail to make the most of our day before gathering our gear and heading home. We found that 4 liters is the ideal amount to carry. While you can melt snow for water\, it must be boiled first. For your trip\, you only need to focus on drinking and washing water; food won’t require any additional water. \n\n\n\n					 Is there an outhouse at the cabin?\n						\nYes\, there is an outhouse on site.
