Teepee Falls is one of them. \nA 15-metre cascade drops off an ancient sandstone lip into a boulder-strewn canyon carved over 90 million years — and the trail to get there is as beautiful as the destination. Wind through spruce and aspen forest with views of the Murray River valley opening up along the way. Watch for mountain goats navigating the black shale cliffs below — somehow\, improbably\, they’ve made this canyon home. \nIn winter\, the falls freeze solid and become one of the region’s finest ice climbing destinations. Every season here has something to say. \n Distance: 5 km return  Elevation gain: ~80 m  Difficulty: Easy \n\nQuality Falls 6 km north of Tumbler Ridge on Hwy 52 \nClose to town and easy to reach\, Quality Falls has a way of surprising people who think they know what a short trail can offer. \nFollow Quality Creek through the forest to a seven-metre waterfall dropping over a sandstone ledge into a small\, swimmable pool below. You can walk right to the water’s edge. Listen for the winter wren and the flash of an American Dipper working the creek — this trail is quietly one of the best birding spots in the Geopark. \nPack a picnic. Email transfers should be sent to jocelyn@peakwyldco.ca\, auto deposit is enabled.  What if the Trip is Canceled Due to Unforeseen Circumstances? In the event of a cancellation due to “acts of God\,” your credit will be transferred to a future date. If the group hike does not reach the minimum number of participants\, you will receive a full refund. Cancellation Policy: Due to the nature of outdoor adventures and the upfront costs involved\, all-day adventures are non-refundable. However\, we can issue a credit for the full amount\, which can be used for a future adventure\, provided cancellations are made at least 5 days in advance of the trip. We strive to offer an exceptional experience\, but please understand that weather and safety considerations may occasionally prevent us from reaching the summit or desired viewpoints. Please note that if you cancel within 0-5 days of the event\, a credit for a future event will not be issued. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to give as much notice as possible\, as spots are limited on each trip. 								\n				\n					\n				\n		\n					\n		\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n				\n		\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n				\n					\n				\n		\n					\n				\n				\n									FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 								\n				\n					\n				\n		\n					\n				\n				\n									Where do we meet? Participants will meet at the Tumbler Ridge Visitor Centre at 9:00 AM. Address: 265 Southgate St\, Tumbler Ridge\, BC V0C 2W0. How much water should I carry? It is recommended to pack 2 liters of water for the hike. Hydration bladders are particularly effective in the summer months. A water filter will be provided by your guide. Are dogs allowed? Unfortunately\, dogs are not permitted on the trail\, except for the guide’s dog. Is it a women-only hike? No\, our hikes are inclusive\, and everyone is welcome to join! Is it beginner-friendly? Yes\, the hike is suitable for beginners with some walking experience. While the trail includes challenging sections\, participants should be physically fit enough to navigate hills and walk comfortably for at least three kilometres at a time. Please note that the trail is rated as moderate to challenging due to its distance. Can children join in on the fun? Absolutely! We encourage family participation. The minimum age limit for participants is 10 years old. How do we get to the location? We will coordinate a carpool\, led by the guide\, to the trailhead. What if the roads are bad? Meeting at the Tumbler Ridge Visitor Centre at 9:00 AM allows ample time to reach the trailhead. Please take your time while driving\, and ensure you have the guide’s contact number saved in your phone in case you encounter any issues. Where can I go to the bathroom? There are several restroom facilities available\, including an outhouse located at the trailhead. Is Peak Wyld Co responsible for my vehicle during the trip? No\, participants are responsible for their own vehicles while driving to the trailhead. Peak Wyld Co is not liable for any damages incurred to vehicles while driving or parked at the trailhead.
