Bears can hibernate anywhere from 4-7 months.  4. Grizzly bears almost dig a new den every year. Moving up to a ton of materials to make their home perfect for the winter conditions. This process can take more than a week to build.  5. Bears can hibernate anywhere from 4-7 months.  4. Grizzly bears almost dig a new den every year. Moving up to a ton of materials to make their home perfect for the winter conditions. This process can take more than a week to build.  5.
