It is an active road so convoying will be best to call road KM’s. Dave will be leading the convoy and will have a radio. This may change due to road maintenance and weather.  What is self study?  You’ll get sent the workbook and online module to your email address to be completed before the field day. You can do this course at your own pace. MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE FIELD DAY. Wind chill can change the temperature dramatically and you will be outside all day on your field day. Yes. All options are available during this course. Trekking equipment not included.  Where do we meet? Tumbler Ridge Visitor Centre at 8:00 AM. Address: 265 Southgate St\, Tumbler Ridge\, BC V0C 2W0. We will carpool from Tumbler Ridge to location. About 45 minute drive.  Do I get a certificate?  Yes.  Where are we doing the course? Perry Creek Road KM 12 on the Bullmoose. Mount Spieker Road. It is an active road so convoying will be best to call road KM’s. Dave will be leading the convoy and will have a radio. This may change due to road maintenance and weather.  What is self study?  You’ll get sent the workbook and online module to your email address to be completed before the field day. You can do this course at your own pace. MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE FIELD DAY. IF NOT YOUR SPOT WILL BE CANCELLED WITH NO REFUND.  Where can I go to the bathroom?  There is plenty of places to stop and go to the bathroom. No outhouses available.  What if the roads are bad?  We have the meeting at the Tumbler Ridge Visitor Centre at 8:00 AM giving us plenty of time to get there. Please\, take your time on the roads. Make sure to have my number in your phone just in case if you can’t make it.  Is the tour cancelled if it is too cold? If the temperature goes below -30 degrees celsius then we will not run the tour and we can reschedule your booking. This may change as weather changes fast.  Age Limit?  Minimum age to participate is 14\, minimum age to get a certificate is 16.  How far will we be trekking? Approximately 5KM.
