We’ll be arriving at the Ranch for the first night where we will be treated by a home cooked meal\, a comfy bed\, and a delicious breakfast to kick start our trek into Beattie Lake.  We’ll trolly across the Sikanni River after breakfast to start our trek into Beattie Lake. It’s roughly a 3-hour walk in to lake. We’ll hike to the cabin where boats\, a generator\, and propane with a stove in the cabin will be included. A perfect hide out from the rain if needed and a place to keep your gear dry. We’ll be backpacking our own gear in\, tents\, food\, etc.. We will drive to the ranch will will take about 1.5/2 hours. You will get transported to the ranch from the gate. You have until dinner time at 6:30 PM to explore around the lodge. Make sure to enjoy the dessert after dinner.     								\n				\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n									Day 2 – June 7\, 2024 – We will start our morning after breakfast 7:00 AM. You will have a lunch packed for the next day. It is roughly around 4-6 hours of walking to get there. We will be crossing some creeks along the way since it will be early conditions. Once arrived at Beattie Lake you will get the whole day/night to set up tent and plenty of time to enjoy the lake.  								\n				\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n									Day 3 –  June 8\, 2024 – We spend the day exploring around Beattie Lake. The day hikes will be around 5-7 KM leaving us enough time to enjoy a lunch on top of a mountain and making our way down for an evening of relaxing near the water. Hiking is rated moderate.  								\n				\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n									Day 4 – June 9\, 2024 – We spend the day walking around the lake and enjoying what the day has to offer.  								\n				\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n									Day 5 – June 10\, 2024 – We will be leaving Beattie Lake for 11:00 AM giving us plenty of time to enjoy coffee and pack our bags for the trek home. With it being early in the season I can’t promise the lake will be crystal clear. It is a good practice to always carry a water filtration system or aqua tabs.  Where do we meet? You will have a full kitchen when you get there if you want to get creative with your food.  Breakfast X3 Lunch X3 Dinner X3 It’s always a good idea to pack an extra meal for food if emergencies happen.  Is this a guided fishing tour?  No\, this is not a guided fishing tour but whatever you do on your free time is up to you.  Do we have fires every night? It all depends on what the current situation is with wildfires. It’s great to know before you go\, when it comes to fire bans. The cabin does have a wood stove.  Where to check the fire ban? https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/safety/wildfire-status/prevention/fire-bans-and-restrictions/prince-george-fire-centre-bans Is liquor allowed?  Yes\, but not supplied.  Where do we go to the bathroom? There is running washrooms at the lodge. When we get to Beattie Lake there is an outhouse about 20 M away from the cabin.  How many guides will be there? One experienced guide will be present during the trip to provide support and knowledge. An In-Reach Satellite communication device will be carried which provides two-way messaging and contact to helicopter support in the unlikely event an emergency occurs\, and ranch will be aware of our whereabouts for the duration of the trip so if an emergency happens we will know.  Can we day hike? There is no leaving the group for day hikes\, or other adventuring. We try to stick to a group as best as possible. Even on the trail\, we must all see each other unless you note the guide otherwise. We will be having a desinated day for hiking.  Will you send out a detailed itinerary? On a trip like this it is good to know that weather can be a deciding factor on what we do in a day.  What about bears & wildlife? We follow great bear safety as travelling in a group to start. There are small and big game on the trail. We share the trails with them. Porcupines have been a problem on previous trips. Make sure your supplies are in dry bags. The cabin can be locked at night. A gun will be carried by guide to provide safety.  Are dogs allowed? There are no other dogs allowed on this trip. Only guides are allowed to bring their dogs.  What if the road to the gate is impossible to get to?  This happens more often in the mountains as the weather can change fast. If the road gets too bad we will be getting the ranch truck to get us there with chains.  Is there cell service? There is no cell service on the trail but there is a phone you can use at the lodge. If you have an inreach/communication device it’s always good practice to bring one in the mountains.  Do you have to tip the guides?  The success of each trip depends on our excellent staff. If you received great service on the trip we always recommend leaving a tip\, we don’t have a price range. Whatever you feel is best. Leaving a tip makes our guides feel valued and appreciated. An In-Reach Satellite communication device will be carried which provides two-way messaging and contact to helicopter support in the unlikely event an emergency occurs\, and ranch will be aware of our whereabouts for the duration of the trip so if an emergency happens we will know.  Can we day hike? There is no leaving the group for day hikes\, or other adventuring. We try to stick to a group as best as possible. Even on the trail\, we must all see each other unless you note the guide otherwise. We will be having a desinated day for hiking.  Will you send out a detailed itinerary? On a trip like this it is good to know that weather can be a deciding factor on what we do in a day.  What about bears & wildlife? We follow great bear safety as travelling in a group to start. There are small and big game on the trail. We share the trails with them. Porcupines have been a problem on previous trips. Make sure your supplies are in dry bags. The cabin can be locked at night. A gun will be carried by guide to provide safety.  Are dogs allowed? There are no other dogs allowed on this trip. Only guides are allowed to bring their dogs.  What if the road to the gate is impossible to get to?  This happens more often in the mountains as the weather can change fast. If the road gets too bad we will be getting the ranch truck to get us there with chains.  Is there cell service? There is no cell service on the trail but there is a phone you can use at the lodge. If you have an inreach/communication device it’s always good practice to bring one in the mountains.  Do you have to tip the guides?  The success of each trip depends on our excellent staff. One experienced guide will be present during the trip to provide support and knowledge. An In-Reach Satellite communication device will be carried which provides two-way messaging and contact to helicopter support in the unlikely event an emergency occurs\, and ranch will be aware of our whereabouts for the duration of the trip so if an emergency happens we will know.  Can we day hike? There is no leaving the group for day hikes\, or other adventuring. We try to stick to a group as best as possible. Even on the trail\, we must all see each other unless you note the guide otherwise. We will be having a desinated day for hiking.  Will you send out a detailed itinerary? On a trip like this it is good to know that weather can be a deciding factor on what we do in a day.  What about bears & wildlife? We follow great bear safety as travelling in a group to start. There are small and big game on the trail. We share the trails with them. Porcupines have been a problem on previous trips. Make sure your supplies are in dry bags. The cabin can be locked at night. A gun will be carried by guide to provide safety.  Are dogs allowed? There are no other dogs allowed on this trip. Only guides are allowed to bring their dogs.  What if the road to the gate is impossible to get to?  This happens more often in the mountains as the weather can change fast. If the road gets too bad we will be getting the ranch truck to get us there with chains.  Is there cell service? There is no cell service on the trail but there is a phone you can use at the lodge. If you have an inreach/communication device it’s always good practice to bring one in the mountains.  Do you have to tip the guides?  The success of each trip depends on our excellent staff. If you received great service on the trip we always recommend leaving a tip\, we don’t have a price range. Whatever you feel is best. Leaving a tip makes our guides feel valued and appreciated. On a trip like this it is good to know that weather can be a deciding factor on what we do in a day.  What about bears & wildlife? We follow great bear safety as travelling in a group to start. There are small and big game on the trail. We share the trails with them. Porcupines have been a problem on previous trips. Make sure your supplies are in dry bags. The cabin can be locked at night. A gun will be carried by guide to provide safety.  Are dogs allowed? There are no other dogs allowed on this trip. Only guides are allowed to bring their dogs.  What if the road to the gate is impossible to get to?  This happens more often in the mountains as the weather can change fast. If the road gets too bad we will be getting the ranch truck to get us there with chains.  Is there cell service? There is no cell service on the trail but there is a phone you can use at the lodge. If you have an inreach/communication device it’s always good practice to bring one in the mountains.  Do you have to tip the guides?  The success of each trip depends on our excellent staff. There is no leaving the group for day hikes\, or other adventuring. We try to stick to a group as best as possible. Even on the trail\, we must all see each other unless you note the guide otherwise. We will be having a desinated day for hiking.  Will you send out a detailed itinerary? On a trip like this it is good to know that weather can be a deciding factor on what we do in a day.  What about bears & wildlife? We follow great bear safety as travelling in a group to start. There are small and big game on the trail. We share the trails with them. Porcupines have been a problem on previous trips. Make sure your supplies are in dry bags. The cabin can be locked at night. A gun will be carried by guide to provide safety.  Are dogs allowed? There are no other dogs allowed on this trip. Only guides are allowed to bring their dogs.  What if the road to the gate is impossible to get to?  This happens more often in the mountains as the weather can change fast. If the road gets too bad we will be getting the ranch truck to get us there with chains.  Is there cell service? There is no cell service on the trail but there is a phone you can use at the lodge. If you have an inreach/communication device it’s always good practice to bring one in the mountains.  Do you have to tip the guides?  The success of each trip depends on our excellent staff. An In-Reach Satellite communication device will be carried which provides two-way messaging and contact to helicopter support in the unlikely event an emergency occurs\, and ranch will be aware of our whereabouts for the duration of the trip so if an emergency happens we will know.  Can we day hike? There is no leaving the group for day hikes\, or other adventuring. We try to stick to a group as best as possible. Even on the trail\, we must all see each other unless you note the guide otherwise. We will be having a desinated day for hiking.  Will you send out a detailed itinerary? On a trip like this it is good to know that weather can be a deciding factor on what we do in a day.  What about bears & wildlife? We follow great bear safety as travelling in a group to start. There are small and big game on the trail. We share the trails with them. Porcupines have been a problem on previous trips. Make sure your supplies are in dry bags. The cabin can be locked at night. A gun will be carried by guide to provide safety.  Are dogs allowed? There are no other dogs allowed on this trip. Only guides are allowed to bring their dogs.  What if the road to the gate is impossible to get to?  This happens more often in the mountains as the weather can change fast. If the road gets too bad we will be getting the ranch truck to get us there with chains.  Is there cell service? There is no cell service on the trail but there is a phone you can use at the lodge. If you have an inreach/communication device it’s always good practice to bring one in the mountains.  Do you have to tip the guides?  The success of each trip depends on our excellent staff. An In-Reach Satellite communication device will be carried which provides two-way messaging and contact to helicopter support in the unlikely event an emergency occurs\, and ranch will be aware of our whereabouts for the duration of the trip so if an emergency happens we will know.  Can we day hike? There is no leaving the group for day hikes\, or other adventuring. We try to stick to a group as best as possible. Even on the trail\, we must all see each other unless you note the guide otherwise. We will be having a desinated day for hiking.  Will you send out a detailed itinerary? On a trip like this it is good to know that weather can be a deciding factor on what we do in a day.  What about bears & wildlife? We follow great bear safety as travelling in a group to start. There are small and big game on the trail. We share the trails with them. Porcupines have been a problem on previous trips. Make sure your supplies are in dry bags. The cabin can be locked at night. A gun will be carried by guide to provide safety.  Are dogs allowed? There are no other dogs allowed on this trip. Only guides are allowed to bring their dogs.  What if the road to the gate is impossible to get to?  This happens more often in the mountains as the weather can change fast. If the road gets too bad we will be getting the ranch truck to get us there with chains.  Is there cell service? There is no cell service on the trail but there is a phone you can use at the lodge. If you have an inreach/communication device it’s always good practice to bring one in the mountains.  Do you have to tip the guides?  The success of each trip depends on our excellent staff. We’ll be arriving at the Ranch for the first night where we will be treated by a home cooked meal\, a comfy bed\, and a delicious breakfast to kick start our trek into Beattie Lake.  We’ll trolly across the Sikanni River after breakfast to start our trek into Beattie Lake. It’s roughly a 3-hour walk in to lake. We’ll hike to the cabin where boats\, a generator\, and propane with a stove in the cabin will be included. A perfect hide out from the rain if needed and a place to keep your gear dry. We’ll be backpacking our own gear in\, tents\, food\, etc.. An In-Reach Satellite communication device will be carried which provides two-way messaging and contact to helicopter support in the unlikely event an emergency occurs\, and ranch will be aware of our whereabouts for the duration of the trip so if an emergency happens we will know.  Can we day hike? There is no leaving the group for day hikes\, or other adventuring. We try to stick to a group as best as possible. Even on the trail\, we must all see each other unless you note the guide otherwise. We will be having a desinated day for hiking.  Will you send out a detailed itinerary? On a trip like this it is good to know that weather can be a deciding factor on what we do in a day.  What about bears & wildlife? We follow great bear safety as travelling in a group to start. There are small and big game on the trail. We share the trails with them. Porcupines have been a problem on previous trips. Make sure your supplies are in dry bags. The cabin can be locked at night. A gun will be carried by guide to provide safety.  Are dogs allowed? There are no other dogs allowed on this trip. Only guides are allowed to bring their dogs.  What if the road to the gate is impossible to get to?  This happens more often in the mountains as the weather can change fast. If the road gets too bad we will be getting the ranch truck to get us there with chains.  Is there cell service? There is no cell service on the trail but there is a phone you can use at the lodge. If you have an inreach/communication device it’s always good practice to bring one in the mountains.  Do you have to tip the guides?  The success of each trip depends on our excellent staff. We’ll be arriving at the Ranch for the first night where we will be treated by a home cooked meal\, a comfy bed\, and a delicious breakfast to kick start our trek into Beattie Lake.  We’ll trolly across the Sikanni River after breakfast to start our trek into Beattie Lake. It’s roughly a 3-hour walk in to lake. We’ll hike to the cabin where boats\, a generator\, and propane with a stove in the cabin will be included. A perfect hide out from the rain if needed and a place to keep your gear dry. We’ll be backpacking our own gear in\, tents\, food\, etc.. We will drive to the ranch will will take about 1.5/2 hours. You will get transported to the ranch from the gate. You have until dinner time at 6:30 PM to explore around the lodge. You will have a lunch packed for the next day. It is roughly around 4-6 hours of walking to get there. We will be crossing some creeks along the way since it will be early conditions. Once arrived at Beattie Lake you will get the whole day/night to set up tent and plenty of time to enjoy the lake.  								\n				\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n									Day 3 –  June 8\, 2024 – We spend the day exploring around Beattie Lake. The day hikes will be around 5-7 KM leaving us enough time to enjoy a lunch on top of a mountain and making our way down for an evening of relaxing near the water. With it being early in the season I can’t promise the lake will be crystal clear. It is a good practice to always carry a water filtration system or aqua tabs.  Where do we meet? There is running washrooms at the lodge. When we get to Beattie Lake there is an outhouse about 20 M away from the cabin.  How many guides will be there? One experienced guide will be present during the trip to provide support and knowledge. An In-Reach Satellite communication device will be carried which provides two-way messaging and contact to helicopter support in the unlikely event an emergency occurs\, and ranch will be aware of our whereabouts for the duration of the trip so if an emergency happens we will know.  Can we day hike? There is no leaving the group for day hikes\, or other adventuring. We try to stick to a group as best as possible. Even on the trail\, we must all see each other unless you note the guide otherwise. We will be having a desinated day for hiking.  Will you send out a detailed itinerary? On a trip like this it is good to know that weather can be a deciding factor on what we do in a day.  What about bears & wildlife? We follow great bear safety as travelling in a group to start. There are small and big game on the trail. We share the trails with them. Porcupines have been a problem on previous trips. Make sure your supplies are in dry bags. The cabin can be locked at night. A gun will be carried by guide to provide safety.  Are dogs allowed? There are no other dogs allowed on this trip. Only guides are allowed to bring their dogs.  What if the road to the gate is impossible to get to?  This happens more often in the mountains as the weather can change fast. If the road gets too bad we will be getting the ranch truck to get us there with chains.  Is there cell service? There is no cell service on the trail but there is a phone you can use at the lodge. If you have an inreach/communication device it’s always good practice to bring one in the mountains.  Do you have to tip the guides?  The success of each trip depends on our excellent staff. If you received great service on the trip we always recommend leaving a tip\, we don’t have a price range. Whatever you feel is best. Leaving a tip makes our guides feel valued and appreciated. We’ll be arriving at the Ranch for the first night where we will be treated by a home cooked meal\, a comfy bed\, and a delicious breakfast to kick start our trek into Beattie Lake.  We’ll trolly across the Sikanni River after breakfast to start our trek into Beattie Lake. It’s roughly a 3-hour walk in to lake. We’ll hike to the cabin where boats\, a generator\, and propane with a stove in the cabin will be included. A perfect hide out from the rain if needed and a place to keep your gear dry. We’ll be backpacking our own gear in\, tents\, food\, etc.. We will drive to the ranch will will take about 1.5/2 hours. You will get transported to the ranch from the gate. You have until dinner time at 6:30 PM to explore around the lodge. Make sure to enjoy the dessert after dinner.     								\n				\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n									Day 2 – June 7\, 2024 – We will start our morning after breakfast 7:00 AM. You will have a lunch packed for the next day. It is roughly around 4-6 hours of walking to get there. We will be crossing some creeks along the way since it will be early conditions. Once arrived at Beattie Lake you will get the whole day/night to set up tent and plenty of time to enjoy the lake.  								\n				\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n									Day 3 –  June 8\, 2024 – We spend the day exploring around Beattie Lake. The day hikes will be around 5-7 KM leaving us enough time to enjoy a lunch on top of a mountain and making our way down for an evening of relaxing near the water. Hiking is rated moderate.  								\n				\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n									Day 4 – June 9\, 2024 – We spend the day walking around the lake and enjoying what the day has to offer.  								\n				\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n									Day 5 – June 10\, 2024 – We will be leaving Beattie Lake for 11:00 AM giving us plenty of time to enjoy coffee and pack our bags for the trek home. With it being early in the season I can’t promise the lake will be crystal clear. It is a good practice to always carry a water filtration system or aqua tabs.  Where do we meet? You will have a full kitchen when you get there if you want to get creative with your food.  Breakfast X3 Lunch X3 Dinner X3 It’s always a good idea to pack an extra meal for food if emergencies happen.  Is this a guided fishing tour?  No\, this is not a guided fishing tour but whatever you do on your free time is up to you.  Do we have fires every night? It all depends on what the current situation is with wildfires. It’s great to know before you go\, when it comes to fire bans. The cabin does have a wood stove.  Where to check the fire ban? https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/safety/wildfire-status/prevention/fire-bans-and-restrictions/prince-george-fire-centre-bans Is liquor allowed?  Yes\, but not supplied.  Where do we go to the bathroom? There is running washrooms at the lodge. When we get to Beattie Lake there is an outhouse about 20 M away from the cabin.  How many guides will be there? One experienced guide will be present during the trip to provide support and knowledge. An In-Reach Satellite communication device will be carried which provides two-way messaging and contact to helicopter support in the unlikely event an emergency occurs\, and ranch will be aware of our whereabouts for the duration of the trip so if an emergency happens we will know.  Can we day hike? There is no leaving the group for day hikes\, or other adventuring. We try to stick to a group as best as possible. Even on the trail\, we must all see each other unless you note the guide otherwise. We will be having a desinated day for hiking.  Will you send out a detailed itinerary? On a trip like this it is good to know that weather can be a deciding factor on what we do in a day.  What about bears & wildlife? We follow great bear safety as travelling in a group to start. There are small and big game on the trail. We share the trails with them. Porcupines have been a problem on previous trips. Make sure your supplies are in dry bags. The cabin can be locked at night. A gun will be carried by guide to provide safety.  Are dogs allowed? There are no other dogs allowed on this trip. Only guides are allowed to bring their dogs.  What if the road to the gate is impossible to get to?  This happens more often in the mountains as the weather can change fast. If the road gets too bad we will be getting the ranch truck to get us there with chains.  Is there cell service? There is no cell service on the trail but there is a phone you can use at the lodge. If you have an inreach/communication device it’s always good practice to bring one in the mountains.  Do you have to tip the guides?  The success of each trip depends on our excellent staff. If you received great service on the trip we always recommend leaving a tip\, we don’t have a price range. Whatever you feel is best. Leaving a tip makes our guides feel valued and appreciated.
