The summit plateau\, and the vertical cliffs which support it\, are formed from rocks of the Gates Formation\, which were deposited in the Lower Cretaceous Period. Make sure to keep your eyes open for Mountain Goats\, there is a herd of about 50 in this area that enjoy the exposed cliffs above.  \n2-3 Hours/3KM Return \nElevation Gain: 50 M (165 ft) \nRating: Moderate\, steep and rocky in places. \nTarn and Tower Trail \nThis route leads past a couple of attractive tarns\, with boardwalks over the moist areas\, and ends at a viewpoint below the towers of Armada Ridge. \n0.5 Hours/500 M Return \nRating: Easy \nBabcock Falls \nA short trail leads through pine forests and wetlands to 8 Metre high Babcock Falls.
