The lake is in the bowl directly under the face of Waptik Mountain.

Your Journey Begins Here

Get Ready for an Exciting Adventure!

Prepare for an unforgettable adventure filled with exploration, camaraderie, and the breathtaking wilderness of Northern BC. Our guided tour will feature:

$275.00 per person. 

Day 1: Arrival and Evening at Bootski Lake

  • 9:00 AM: Arrive at the Visitor Centre for check-in and head count.
  • 9:30 AM: Depart from the Visitor Centre and begin our journey to Bootski Lake Trail.
  • 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Hike along the Bootski Lake Trail, enjoying the scenic views as we ascend.
  • 1:00/3:00 PM: Arrive at Bootski Lake. Take time to relax, explore the area, and enjoy the stunning alpine scenery.
  • 5:00 PM: Settle in at the campsite. Prepare for the evening while watching the sun dip behind the mountains, creating a picturesque sunset. 
  • 7:00 PM: Dinner at camp, followed by relaxation and stargazing under the clear alpine sky.

Day 2: Day Hike and Departure

  • 7:00 AM: Wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the mountains, witnessing the transformation of the landscape.
  • 8:00 AM: Breakfast at camp.
  • 10:00 AM: Depart for a day hike, exploring the beautiful surroundings and capturing memorable moments.
  • 2:00 PM: Return to camp to disassemble and pack up gear.
  • 3:00 PM: Begin the journey back, reflecting on a weekend spent enjoying the breathtaking baby blue alpine lake in the heart of the mountains.
  • 5:00 PM: Arrive back at the Visitor Centre, concluding the tour.

This itinerary offers a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and stunning natural beauty, ensuring a memorable experience at Bootski Lake!

Are dogs allowed?

No, only guides are allowed to have their dogs on the trail.

Is it women only? 

No, everyone is welcome! 

Is it beginner-friendly? 

Note, this trail is rated challenging due to incline and steep sections. Beginner friendly with walking inclines as experience.  

How did we get to the location?

We will carpool in a line with the guide leading to the trailhead.

Cancellation Policy:

To secure your booking, a 50% deposit is required, which is non-refundable. We offer a full credit for future adventures for cancellations made at least one week prior to the trip date. We strive to provide an exceptional experience; however, please note that weather and safety conditions may occasionally prevent us from reaching the summit or desired viewpoints with the group.

If you cancel within 0-7 days of the trip, unfortunately, no credit will be issued for future events. We encourage you to provide as much notice as possible, as spots are limited for each trip.

What if the roads are bad? 

We have the meeting at the Tumbler Ridge Visitor Centre at 9:00 AM giving us plenty of time to get there. Please, take your time on the roads. Make sure to have my number in your phone just in case if you can’t make it.  

Where can I go to the bathroom? 

There are plenty of places to stop and go to the bathroom along the trail. We follow cathole practices until we reach the Bootski Lake, where a new outhouse was just installed. 

Is Peak Wyld Co responsible for your vehicle to the trailhead? 

No, the participant is responsible for the drive to the trailhead. Peak Wyld Co is not responsible for any damages done to vehicle while driving or parked at the trailhead.
