What are your plans this weekend? Want to go for a hike? Join us for a weekend in Tumbler Ridge, BC. Both are day events so feel free to pick which one or come to both and enjoy the trails! These trails are some of locals favourites in the area. We can't wait to tie up the boots and make the first weekend one to remember of opening season!

$5 from every booking will go towards the Wolverine Nordic & Mountain Society.
First aid kit, emergency supplies, and a communication device will be carried by guides. It is a great practice to carry your own emergency supplies.

You can click on the links and find out more about each hike (km's, elevation gain, etc.) You can register yourself for a trip into the mountains on each page as well. This new system has been working great and I love how easy it is for everyone and myself.

Don’t let kids slow you down on things you love to do.

We blew up the paddle boards and got them ready for the season ahead. I mean Wylder jumped on the boards while I pumped my little heart out. I’m telling ya the last couple psi is an arm workout. Little man loved it and cheered me on pretty much the whole time. We hit the water and he had a blast. Dozer even swam along the side for the whole time. “Come dodo”. This stage is chaos and hard not to throw the towel in sometimes. But having a little buddy who does not stay quiet now is quite the charm to have around with his little words. It happens quick and there is no normal for raising kids. There is only normal to us. 🤍

This summer I made it a goal of mine to do almost everything with little man. I live an adventurous lifestyle normally by the seat of my pants but this guy has kept up real good. Late nights. New places. He surprises me the more adventures he goes on and how well he does. Sometimes it’s a no but that’s okay. We try again the next day.

Give it a try mommas because sometimes the outcome beats the anxiety leading up to it. Sometimes the thought of packing them up, dressed, snacks packed, the list goes on for you to leave the door even is hard to take sometimes. But they really do love being your adventure buddy!

I’ve had the privilege of getting Jenna a local artist @nenudesigns out of Mackenzie, BC to draw up some designs and she hit it out of the park with all of them. Her talent shows in every piece. I can’t wait to show you what we all come up with together. I’m working with two local businesses on this project and can’t wait to show off everyone’s hard work!

We have hats, hoodies, crewnecks, water bottles, stickers, t-shirts, dry bags and more coming at you!

Even through the fires I got my course done. I finished the first half the weekend before they started the second half was when they first started.

I got texted hurry up a fire started the first day. (Saturday). I probably drove through town doing 140KM. Not knowing what I was going home too but my kid was on his way to town and the huge cloud of ball of fire you could see from town. We realized it was still far away from the farm and I brought him home that night. The next day was Mother’s Day. The fire had not crossed the Buick yet so we were kinda at a stand still watching the smoke and show that day. That day I got put on alert. Packed my bags and kinda waited and watched the show. Jeremy was evacuated from work that night so we knew things were getting serious. I still had a day left of my course though. They said if I didn’t show up I would fail, as we were getting tested that day. A huge shout out to the FSJ Leisure Pool for letting me finish early so I could make it home to pack my bags in time!

Jeremy was home so I knew if I went the next morning at least he could take Wylder in if he had to. During that day I had so much anxiety they let me finish my course and head home. That night we had a marker in a slash of I need to get out before it gets the road. It crossed the Buick fast!

They never even put me on order if it wasn’t for our decision to leave I would of been trapped there in with Wylder for the night so at 10 PM we left. All of us.

Cheers to a Mother’s Day I will never forget and getting one step closer to my National Lifeguard certificate. Today I picked up my certificate and badge and had a moment of I did it even through the chaos.

All I can say is life is crazy and we pulled this course off by the seat of our pants.

“This way Mommy”.

The wyld 2 stages. They go from 0-10 real quick. Full of emotions. But then you sit and realize the other day you had a full conversation with them all day. Finally understanding each other.

They don't give no shits if ya clean up after them, you pick up toys to get them knocked out of the bin 2 minutes later. But watching them play and figure out the world one day at a time puts a stop in the world.

I had to step back this week from work where I should be going into my busy season head forward. I feel like I'm far behind with having my time somewhere else lately, I honestly have no idea where to start I feel like. I feel like chasing a 2-year-old is all I can do somedays. But I have to remember I'm raising a 2-year-old and I need to set my boundaries with my company I never even thought I would have to do before.

My to-do list is long. But I'm making this post because I can finally admit to saying I need help and would love to hire someone part-time! I would love to have help with social media content, website editing, reviewing waiver forms, transferring information, organizing and planning events, and to help take some of my daily tasks away on my computer. All you will need is wifi and you can work from wherever you want. If you're looking at getting your hands into the tourism industry reach out. I started this company from nothing. Learning as I go day by day. I'm still learning.

Sometimes you just have to go “this way” to become the best version your company needs you to be.

I really have no words yet. My family is here. No

I really have no words yet. My family is here. No one got hurt. Animals are still here with a few new calves on the ground. Houses are standing. The community gathered when we needed them the most. From the bottom of my heart thank you to everyone who helped in every way possible. Those guardian angels worked over time this week with the help of our amazing community!

The rain is here. 🤍💛 - Now let BC & Alberta have a rest with this rain that we needed so badly!

As some may know our house has been in the middle

As some may know our house has been in the middle of the wild fires for the last week. Threatening the houses everyday. We have a huge community helping us and I legit have no words for the amount of help we’ve received so far and still people keep showing up and pulling shifts until 3 AM almost every night. All we can say right now is thank you right now. Our house was once surrounded by miles of trees, now they no longer exist. They’re fighting the fight day in and day out. It’s been a long week to say the least.

I won’t be responding to emails or anything about work until everyone who is fighting is safe and is able to have a rest! Please be patient with me and know I will get back to you all soon as I can. 🤍
