What if the Trip is Canceled Due to Unforeseen Circumstances? In the event of a cancellation due to “acts of God,” your credit will be transferred to a future date. If the group hike does not reach the minimum number of participants, you will receive a full refund.
Cancellation Policy: Due to the nature of outdoor adventures and the upfront costs involved, all-day adventures are non-refundable. However, we can issue a credit for the full amount, which can be used for a future adventure, provided cancellations are made at least 5 days in advance of the trip. We strive to offer an exceptional experience, but please understand that weather and safety considerations may occasionally prevent us from reaching the summit or desired viewpoints.
Please note that if you cancel within 0-5 days of the event, a credit for a future event will not be issued. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to give as much notice as possible, as spots are limited on each trip.

Are dogs allowed?
No, only guides are allowed to have their dogs on the trail.
Is it women only?
No, everyone is welcome!
Is it beginner-friendly?
Note, this trail is rated moderate to challenging due to its distance.
Can your child join in on the fun?
Yes, we love having the whole family out. The minimum age limit is 12.
How do we get to the location?
We will carpool in a convoy to the trailhead, with your guide leading the way. If you are departing from Fort Nelson, please meet at the Visitor Centre at 8:00 AM — we will be leaving at 8:15 AM. Look for the red gate on your left as we head up the road. If you hit Summit Lake you have gone too far.
What is the cancellation policy?
Due to the nature of outdoor adventures and our upfront costs, all-day adventures are non-refundable. We can issue a credit for the full amount for cancellations made at least one week in advance. We do our very best to provide an amazing experience, due to weather and safety conditions we may not always be able to reach the summit or desired viewpoint. If you cancel within 0–7 days of your trip, no credit will be issued. Please give as much notice as possible, as spots are limited.
What if the roads are bad?
Please take your time on the roads. Make sure to have your guide’s number saved in your phone in case you are unable to make it.
Should I tip my guide?
Tips are not expected but are certainly appreciated! If your guide did an exceptional job and you’d like to show it, a tip will be graciously accepted via cash or e-transfer at the end of your tour.
Where can I go to the bathroom?
There are plenty of spots along the way to take a bathroom break.
Is Peak Wyld Co. responsible for your vehicle to the trailhead?
No, participants are responsible for the drive to the trailhead. Peak Wyld Co. is not responsible for any damages to your vehicle while driving to or parked at the trailhead.

Extra clothing is one of the 10 essentials. Weather can change quickly, and you may be out longer than planned. In every season, be prepared with additional waterproof layers, fleece jacket or warm layers, extra socks, gloves and toque and buff.
