If your kid whines that’s okay every kid whines. Don’t be scared of the little things. We just want to get you past your front door and hitting the trails.

WHAT TO PACK FOR YOUR KID

Packing for your kid(s) on an adventure can be a little confusing and overwhelming especially if you haven’t been before. Let’s keep it simple!

Here is our starter list.

Baby carrier – Make sure you pack the rain cover just in case it decides to rain on us. A splash suit would work perfect if you have no rain cover.

Think layers when dressing your kid. Having a good base layer will help your kid stay warm.

Shoes – Runners should be the perfect option but just in case the trail is muddy pack rubber boots. We will know the conditions at the trailhead.

Snacks and more snacks. We all know our kids eat a ton, so pack some good hand snacks for the trails. There is a picnic bench at the lookout for the kids to enjoy a lunch.

Changing table – There will be a picnic bench at the lookout if you need to change your baby. No outhouses on the trail. A bag to keep the garbage in will be handy when it comes to pack in what you pack out. Including diapers if needed.

Hydration – Make sure to pack a water bottle for the little as the trail will be burning up some energy!
